Haven't Received a Test Date Yet?

Use the following checklist to help figure out your next steps.

1. Did you submit your Prometric Exam?

Within 72 hours of the application being submitted, Prometric would have emailed you a "FLCNA Applicant Status Report". If you did, move to step 2. If you did not receive this email, it is possible that your exam application did not process properly.

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement to see if $155 was deducted.
  • If not deducted, resubmit your exam application.
  • If it was deducted, call Prometric at 888-277-3500 to resolve the issue.

2. Did you complete a Level II background check using ORI EDOH0380Z?

This check must be completed no more than 90 days before submitting your exam application.

  • If yes, move to step 3.
  • If not, complete one with an approved LiveScan Vendor.

  • Outside Alachua County? View all approved vendors via the Department of Health:
    Find vendors.

3. Has your background check reached the Department of Health?

Check your results at www.CheckYourTCN.info using your TCN.

  • If status is "Complete", continue to step 4.
  • If status is "In Progress" or "Pending", wait 2 days and recheck.
  • If message says "TCN not found", confirm your TCN was entered correctly. If still not found, contact your LiveScan Vendor.

4. Pull a Prometric Status Report

Before proceeding, gather the following information:

  • Prometric ID
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth

5. Interpret the Results

Look at two key items on your status report:


Application Status

  • If "Complete", no further action is needed.
  • If "Incomplete", you’ll receive a separate email from Prometric outlining next steps.
  • If no email arrives within a week, call Prometric at 888-277-3500.


Eligibility Approval Status

  • If "Approved", wait for your test date.
  • If "Pending Approval", and more than 5 days have passed since both the application is complete and the background check is marked "Complete":
